Southern Peony Intersectional Peony GardenRemember back in 2014 Swenson Gardens 7 Intersectional Peonies for $35!? That was unheard of back then, well I think Solaris Farms just took the cake. This year in the 2020 Solaris Farms catalog they are offering 20, (yes 20!), different intersectional peony varieties for $30 each. Intersectional peonies are now finally becoming affordable to all peony growers. That's 20 different cultivars to choose from in an impressive array of colors - Yellows, Pinks, Blush, Coral Pinks, Reds, and Lavender.

I would like to take advantage of the lower pricesbeing offered and add one intersectional to my garden. Due to space restrictions, sadly, I don’t have room for more. The only article I found regarding the best performers was in 2013. Do you have a more recent one of intersectionals? Thanks. Marsha

DeleteEvery year we add new peonies to our Southern Peony Best Performers list. Here you can find a list of the best performing peonies in our area. Also there is a section of the page that groups all of the Intersectional Southern Peony Best Performers together. Check it out, and I hope this info helps!
P.S. - So far Intersectional Peony 'Keiko' 愛幕 (Adored) aka 'Pink Double Dandy' is the best performing intersectional peony overall.
